Ground shipping is free on every order to the lower 48. Alaska and Hawaii are quoted at checkout.

Orders outside the United States may attract duty and import tax, charged by your own customs authority rather than by us.

Email support@pacmotor.com with your order number and a short description. Most faults are diagnosed from a photo and a video of the behaviour.

For a year after delivery, an electrical or mechanical fault is covered by the $55 Service Plan — bought at the moment you need it, not with the motor. It buys a prepaid label both ways, a full inspection to find the root cause, whatever parts and labour the repair takes, and a test before the unit ships back. If the repair costs more than $55, you are not charged the difference. Each plan covers one repair.

After the first year we still repair PacMotors — parts and labour are quoted for what is needed.

A tracking link is emailed the moment the parcel is scanned by the carrier.

Preorders work the same way: the tracking email goes out when your order ships.

Check the tracking link first — most delays are a carrier hold rather than a lost parcel. If tracking has not moved for three working days, email support@pacmotor.com with your order number and we chase it from our end.

Email support@pacmotor.com to open a return. Items must be unused and in the original packaging, and the return has to be requested within 10 days of delivery.

We send a prepaid return label, so the return costs you nothing.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and Shop Pay. Card details are handled by the payment processor and never reach our servers.

Not at the moment. Gift cards are not issued or accepted.

Almost always a mismatch between the billing address entered and the one your bank holds, or a bank block on a large first-time charge. Re-check the address, then try a second card or PayPal. If it still fails, email support@pacmotor.com — do not retry more than twice, as repeated attempts can lock the card.

You get an order confirmation email within minutes. If there is no email but your bank shows a pending charge, the order did not complete and the hold drops off on its own — forward the bank line to support@pacmotor.com and we confirm either way.

It replaces the reason most paddlers buy a second, bigger boat. A 9 lb motor on a 37" no-drill frame turns the kayak you already own into one that holds position and gets you home, at $799 to $1,497 rather than the price of a powered hull.

Yes — shallow marsh is what dual thrusters are best at. Rotation in place gets you through cuts a single motor would have to arc around, and both thrusters lift clear when the water gets too thin to run them.

The thrusters are mounted to kick up rather than take the impact through the frame. After a hard strike, lift them and check the propellers for chips before running again — spare propellers are $24.99 a pair.

Reverse both thrusters for a second or two — that clears most of it. For a solid wrap, lift the thruster out of the water and pull the weed off by hand. The Easy Lockout Pins ($19.99) hold the thrusters in the raised position while you do it.

Yes, provided the beam falls inside the 37" frame's range and there is a flat gunwale for the clamps. No drilling is involved either way.

Yes — like canoes, most paddleboards take the 37" no-drill frame. Not sure about yours? Email a photo of the board's edge where the frame would clamp to support@pacmotor.com and we will tell you.

The 16V Powerhouse Battery is 800Wh and recharges fully in 3–4 hours. Run time is up to 20 hours and depends almost entirely on how much of the day is spent at speed versus holding position — Spot Lock draws a fraction of what 6 mph does. At full speed expect nearer 3–4 hours.

Wind, current, load and water conditions all move that number.

Power is required. The Powerhouse Battery ($459) is what we build, support and recommend — it is included with the GPS Combo and sold separately for the Original and GPS.

You can also run your own battery: anything 12V to 16V that can supply at least 30 amps continuously will drive the motor.

Newer PacMotors pair from the outside: power the unit, hold the new remote's power button for 10–15 seconds until it flashes red and blue, hold it within a foot or two of the head unit and press the button on the side of the head unit once, firmly. The flashing stops when it is paired.

Older units without that side button have to be opened — four Phillips screws, the silicone seal, then the same button sequence inside, and the seal re-made with fresh silicone afterwards so the unit stays watertight.
